Biography

Roland Schal (* 1956 in Gütersloh, GER) started playing the guitar as a eleven-year-old boy; he spent many hours listening to his idols: Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Winter - which has greatly influenced Roland's style - and at the age of thirteen he already played in front of people with his first band.
The last years, Roland is to be heard at the annual "GT smAll Stars" concerts ("Die Weberei", Gütersloh).
2018 he released his album "Finally" - containing the essence of 50 years musical work - and formed an own band.
